Welcome to the longest-running swing dance information portal in Charlotte, North Carolina. CSDS is a nonprofit, volunteer organization whose purpose is to promote the practice of swing dancing and facilitate education about it and its history.

We work hard to ensure that the information here is organized well, is kept current, and promotes every swing dance opportunity in the Charlotte area. Our scope focuses on Lindy hop, East Coast swing, Charleston, Balboa and blues dance styles. (Pssst, if you dance Carolina shag, you have a good head start.)
