Welcome to Charlotte, North Carolina's longest-running swing dance information portal. CSDS is a nonprofit, volunteer organization whose purpose is to promote swing dancing and facilitate education about it and its history.

We work hard to ensure that the information here is organized well, is kept current, and promotes every organization's swing dances in the Charlotte area. Our scope focuses on Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston, Balboa and Blues dance styles. (Pssst, if you already dance Carolina Shag, you have a good head start.)
